Sunshine Dress / Marigold

The sunshine dress was designed to feature the stunning qualities of Nymane's marigold stitch shibori. Beautifully detailed with pin-tucks at the front and back that release into the perfect amount of volume, and an adjustable panel inserted at the sides to provide versatility in how you choose to wear the dress.

A twist on the resist dye techniques of India and Japan. Their stitch shibori is a painstaking process that involves accordian pleating the fabric from selvedge to selvedge, running it through with 40 to 50 rows of stitching, dyeing the fabric, and then removing all of the stitch lines and engineering the pattern created to blend perfectly with its paired garment.
