In 2013, two sisters, Claire and Alix Mougenot, with the support of Virginie Courtin Clarins, founded the brand, Luz.
Luz, meaning ‘light’ in Spanish, is a fashion brand that has the environment in its DNA. This eco-friendly and fair-trade brand has one objective: to enhance women's figures while respecting our planet.
By virtue of its use of GOTS organic-certified cotton and its fair-trade atelier in Peru, Luz’s approach to fashion is both ultra-chic and eco-responsible.
Grown in Peru without pesticides, GMOs, or chemical fertilizers, Luz’s use of only organic cotton ensures that all its swimwear items are soft, of the highest quality, and respect the environment and your skin.
Luz’s exclusive 93/7 fabric was designed to be a perfect blend of elastane and organic cotton. It is the starting point of Luz's creative process.
